Meet Instructor Derek

Certified Shooters MD was founded to provide safe, professional, and practical firearms training for individuals seeking to become responsible and confident firearm owners.

Instructor Derek is a certified firearms instructor serving Maryland and the District of Columbia. He provides Maryland HQL, Maryland Wear & Carry Permit, DC Concealed Carry, private firearms instruction, and firearm familiarization training. His goal is to help students understand firearm safety, applicable laws, and the skills needed to safely own and carry a firearm.

Whether you are a first-time gun owner or an experienced shooter looking to expand your knowledge, Certified Shooters MD is committed to delivering quality instruction in a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
